Delhi Cheap Flights & Other Paradoxes!
Delhi, like most of India, is a city of
paradoxes. You have the most knowledgeable bureaucrat rubbing shoulders with an
illiterate only in this city, the rich-poor divide makes your head spin and the
range of vehicles plying on roads is going to fast track your knowledge of
passenger vehicles available in india while you still get surprised or even hit
by bicycles coming from wrong side of the road. Here you have those who do not
believe in castes and then those who could probably die for protecting their caste
honour.
From a very high level the simplistic and
straight answer could be the diversity of origin and upbringing of the
population. Barely 50% of the city is populated by those born here. As
mentioned earlier, the bureaucracy brings here many and so does the private
sector. What with the internet going crazy, Delhi Cheap Flights
banner must be getting clicked a few thousand times on various sites and as
mentioned later results in millions visiting Delhi. The truth is that Delhi
holds unique importance in all matters political and activities economic in
nature. Major policies of Global import get drafted here as also the future of
many political wannabes is drafted or sealed here. And that brings temporary
and permanent settlers in hordes. The amount of money flowing around as an
outcome of above and many more related reasons is such that there are
livelihood opportunities for a very wide array of crafts persons and service
providers. All get a place in this city and the thousands of beggars live off them.
Among the mundane things, the Delhi Cheap flights example is a case in point to further strengthen the paradox.
While there are the masses scampering to book jetflights to and from Delhi; there are those who have private planes waiting in the tow and
many times more than one for each of those bigwigs. The Delhi airports look
anything but cheap and your chest just swells a bit if you are an original
Delhiite. The Delhi Airport, overtook Mumbai airport last year in terms of
number of passengers handled(close to 30million) and is second only to Mumbai
in terms of Cargo handled(600tonnes) and is well connected with the city
by road and by the newly launched airport Metro link. The world class
infrastructure and the courteous staff inside the airport makes every
Delhite proud.
But then there is much to be liked here
despite the paradoxes. The range of food, the culinary delights available turn
you to a glutton sooner than you realize and hence the Delhi belly. No, please
do not blame our food if you can’t stop eating. The street food is literally
‘to die for’ though one needs to be selective. It is highly recommended that
you carry your own water on the streets of Delhi.
